Hello! I am Kayla Parlato,
I am a 4th-year mechanical engineering student at Northeastern University. I have a strong passion for designing, manufacturing, and testing. I embrace pushing past mental limits and looking at things through different perspectives, which I have found engineering to fully encompass.
I love learning new things and hope to continue doing so throughout all of life. I have experience designing and testing propulsion fluid systems, prototyping for on-orbit manufacturing, and welding components for liquid engine feed systems.
Building things has always been my passion. I see the principles of physics and engineering as the foundation of life, and I look forward to learning as much as I can to influence life in a new way.
In my free time I enjoy playing electric guitar, running, listening to Janis Joplin, and sewing!
