How To Use Air Pump
Step 1
Find the PSI air pressure range on the side of the tire
This will tell you the correct amount of air to fill the tire with
If you do not have a gauge, then fill until it is firm to the touch while squeezing both sides of the tire.
Step 2
Remove the cap from the tire valve
This is where the air from the pump will enter the tire
If you have a Presta valve instead of a Schrader valve, then loosen the valve by unscrewing the tip
Step 3
Connect the bike’s tire valve to the pump’s nozzle and flip the nozzle’s lever up
Step 4
Remove the cap from the tire valve
This is where the air from the pump will enter the tire
If you have a Presta valve instead of a Schrader valve, then loosen the valve by unscrewing the tip
Step 5
Connect the bike’s tire valve to the pump’s nozzle and flip the nozzle’s lever up
Step 6
Move the pump handle up and down until the desired air pressure in the tire is reached
Use both hands on the pump’s handle to fill the tire with air
Step 7
Flip the pump’s nozzle lever down
Step 8
Put on the tire valve’s cap
For a Presta valve, first retighten the valve’s tip
